I was fortunate enough to be a Regions Bank employee for a while, and was able to open one of these accounts with no monthly minimums. I would recommend the account, but it's really only worthwhile if you have money to keep in your account. My measly 200-250 maximum balances really didn't earn me a whole lot of interest, but if I had had a little higher pay bracket, it would have been worth it. The online banking was a great perk, as it was 9.95 extra at the time.
