Great company with a lot of research data for traders. The only complaint that I had was that I had to fax in a form to get my money wired to me after I was done trading.

Top notch registration process and low commissions and fees make Scottrade a winner. Trading and research tools could use some improvement.

I signed up with scottrade.com and got 3 free trades with this promo code: HESJ1527

I think they require a $500 minimum to get the free trades. Still a great deal.

Had my account with them for a long time now, their site is fairly reliable and never caused me any inconvenience on my trades, good for most people who like to do online trading. The most annoying hard is trying to deposit money into my Scottrade account. They can't just withdraw money from your bank account, so you would have to fill out a form, and mail it in with a check. When you want to deposit money, you have to call them and ask them to send you a check. If you need money urgently for whatever reasons, this can be really annoying waiting for the check in the mail.
