The Premium Money Market account is only available to clients who have a Smart Solution Plus checking account or a Signature Advantage Brokerage account. It's similar to the Money Market Performance Account, but offers a higher interest rate. You must maintain a $2,500 minimum daily balance to avoid a $15 monthly maintenance fee.

This savings account offers tiered interest rates based on your account balance. It is OK if you want to combine cash balances in your checking account package with this account, then you would be able to earn more in the savings account. However, many online banks offer a better savings rate. Suntrust also offers an online savings account rate of 3.1% (as of 8/5/2008) which is competitive w…ith other online banks and may be a better choice. You have to use a special URL link to apply for this special online account from Suntrust (find it through Google).
