I have had a very bad experience with this company and it has taken about a month and a half. I am still waiting on funds to complete a room that was damaged by a water leak. I can't explain why it is taking so long in that they are getting their money on time from me the customer. It is not like the claim is a lot. Plumbing was not covered or the labor for the plumber. THEY SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My 79 year old mother has had this insurance company for 6 years. Her roof has been damaged from an unexpected snow storm, and they are completely denying help to my Mother! They are NEVER available, and don't care that they lack of concern can cause mold damage and that the furniture and carpet were ruined as well. They are THE WORST and I would NEVER recommend them to take care of their clients. All they are good at is COLLECTING premiums. Thanks for caring for my Mom, your loyalty was nothing for her.
I had Traveler's home insurance when I lived in a rental apartment, so I stayed with them when I bought my house. Their customer service is fantastic (mostly I know this because of claims I had to make for my car). Recently I added a piece of jewelry to the policy, and they were very helpful and efficient in handling the request.
Francisco said he hasn't made a claim.well I have and so far the results are not favorable. It all concerns water damage. I discovered a wet carpet and immediately call for help..Travelers said it was caused from a "leak" and that it happened more than 14 days prior to my calling...so it is not covered because the pipe did not "burst". I also have extended coverage for fungi..Guess what ..that's not covered either because it took more than 14 days...the final outcome is pending..will post again with final results
I signed up with Travelers for home insurance when I bought my home. They gave a discount if you do both home and car insurance through them, which was a nice plus.
I found the sign up and payment processes very easy to deal with, and their web site allows you to manage your account online which is always a nice plus.
Their rates are very good (the lowest that I've found).
I have Travelers home insurance, which was offered to me when I bought my house through Weichert. Since I haven't had to need to make a claim with them, I can't comment on how that is. But I can say that the process of signing up with them is easy, the price was cheaper than most places.
