Trustmark National Bank's Time Deposits provide a better yield interest rate . These deposits include - Certificate of Deposits and Individual Retirement Accounts. The Certificates of Deposit Accounts have features such as guaranteed interest rates that vary according to length of maturity, minimum investment of $1000, maturities that range from 30 days to 5 years and interest that is calculated on a 365-day basis at a rate determined by the maturity date. Accrued interest can be paid to the customer or added back to the certificate using varying methods according to the size of the CD and maturity. These CDs can be used as loan collateral with penalties applicable for early withdrawal. The Individual Retirement Accounts provide tax benefits in certain cases.
