UNUM makes mistakes we have to pay for. I was hospitalized with a head injury and very mentally out of it. They gave many thousands to my wife and later said it was a mistake because they did not know I was eligible for workers comp. I had to pay it back out of SS disability and workers comp. I would not have paid it back but my guardian did. There long term disability payments are just enough to cover my grocery bill. They are a joke, do not waste your money on them. My workers comp insurance on the other hand is wonderful and covers everything the medical services recommends without one objection. UNUM is serious **** vs. my workers comp insurance, don't waste money on them.
