Cabela's Visa Check Card

Though I love shopping at Cabela's, this card should not be selected simply for the rewards. Although it sounds good in theory to get free gift cards to the store for purchasing on this card, the return really isn't that great. I would choose a basic cash-back card before this one, as the ability to only spend at one store is a minus. Other than the rewards part, though, this has been a good ca…rd to have. The company is easy to deal with.

I have had this cabelas card for a year and charged once on it in November, I payed a big lump sum payment in december and they dropped my available credit in half! I called with no help from the company of an explanantion for this. I guess this is their way of saying to me to pay this card off and go somewhere else for my business. They lost my business I will be shopping somewhere else.

This credit card company is horrible. Out of 5 credit card companies they were the only company that was not willing to work with me when I fell behind on payments. Then when I accepted the settlement that was offered, they charged my bank account $2,000 more than what I had authorized causing my account to go into the negative by $500 and inccuring over $200 in over draft fees. Now I have to w…ait a week in order to have the funds put back into my account.

I shop at Cabelas at least once a week, and now I get great rewards that save me cash, just by spending normally. Any one that shops at Cabelas should get on board with this check card.
