There is no minimum deposit to open this account, but as it says you've got to couple it with a minimum $25 automatic monthly transfer from a U.S. Bank checking account, per statement cycle. It's just as well, this is an assured way to build up your savings and incentive to build up your account. Your money is FDIC insured, as well.
