I was without a job from Aug through Nov of '08. I called US Bank Home Mortgage 3 times to see if they would offer even the slightest relief that I could pay back. In every call they made their policy very clear: they refuse to help until the customer ruins his/her credit by not paying for 30 days. I'm now selling my home (for more than my purchase price in '06) and buying a smaller home with a secure 750 credit rating avg. My new mortgage will NOT be with US Bank.

We have our first home through US Bank and so far its been ok.The interest rate is good. Their service is just alright. Payments are taken out quickly. It only takes a couple days from when we send our payment in for the money to be taken out of our account.
