Visa Buxx Prepaid Card

I purchased a VisaBuxx card 3 MONTHS ago, and I still haven't received it! I would NOT recommend this card or company to anyone. They told me they have tried sending it to me 3 times, and will not give me my money back unless I pay a fee for the check they send me. On top of this, it would take 2-3 business WEEKS to receive the check in the mail. I never received the card...who's to say I won't… receive the check? I don't know what to do about this. I hope it doesn't happen to anyone else.

I got my 14 year old son a US Bank Visa Buxx card, It seemed to be a good idea, but my son had problems with his ATM pin number, and tried to access his account multiple times (trying from memory to get his pin number right). When I looked at next month's statement, I noticed multiple "ATM Decline Fees", one for each time his tried to access his own account! Talk about predatory fees. I underst…and NSF fees, because there is a cost to the bank to handle bounced checks, but to charge for a decline on an ATM is unacceptable. Small fees add up over time. I would not recommend this card, unless you want to teach your child about the ways bank prey on their customers.
