We use this card for just about everything. Charges may be $1000, 2000 per month. Easy to use. Most places accept it. If they don't, I don't know why, but its O.K. I fall back on the Visa.
Very important to me, we never carry over a balance.
and the rewards are great.

Great Card. Customer service is excellent. 0% for 12 months with no balance transfer fee's is unbeatable. My card was prime + 0 until last month when if was moved to 6%. Still the best rate I can find.

I have had a USAA Platinum Master Card for over 5 years. During that time, the interest rate has been very competitive. My rate for quite some time has been Prime + 0% which is next to impossible to beat. I also like having my picture and signature imbedded on the front of the card because that makes it more difficult for anyone else to use it. I trust USAA and recommend their credit cards to anyone.

USAA is Jacking EVERYONE'S minimum APR to 9.9% in February.

I feel like I've been betrayed since my previous credit history warranted a 7.9% rate. Now I'll get my APR jacked to 9.9% minimum.

I love my USAA Platinum Mastercard! We switched to USAA shortly after we were married and now only have this one credit card - everything we charge goes on it.

The perks are nice but what we really like is having it fully integrated with our checking and savings accounts. We can review all of our account activity online and pay the bill instantly with one click.

The only thing I have to complain about is that they keep raising our limit! It seems like every 6 months the limit is raised. This might be a good thing to some people, but we'd much rather have it remain at a constant amount for a period of time.

I agree with the above reviews, with one important qualifier. If you're not "property and casualty insurance elligible", then this card loses almost all its perks: no promotional rates, no cash back, et cetera.

So if you are "fully ellgible" at USAA, then by all means check this card out. If you're one of the few who, like me, qualify without full elligibility, it isn't as interesting.

I got this card in response to a 0% balance transfer/cash advance offer with no fees.

NO ONE does that anymore. I've had the card for the year and just let the balance run down. I invested the cash advance.

When it comes due, I will most likely leave the card open and perhaps switch some of my spending to this card.

As with everything USAA touches, this is a great card. I have the 1% cash back rewards card with no fees, low APRs, and a nice check at the end of the year totaling 1% of my spending for the year. It's a simple, straightforward plan, with no catches, backed by the ridiculously awesome USAA customer service.
