I enjoyed the Youth Savings account. I have two for my children. I appreciated that it only required $25 to open. My children can also view there accounts online and it empowers them to save for the future.

I am generally in favor of all USAA products. The only drawback to this account, which I opened for my daughter, is the tiering. You have to put in $5000 to earn the highest rate.

There aren't many companies overing youth savings accounts - due to the rise of 529s - but this is a good holding place for a child's cash.
