When I got my insurance quote over the phone through a Nationwide agent, I was told the price for for a 12 month policy. Once I started getting billed monthly double the amount I was quoted I was told "oh, you misunderstood - that price was for a 6 month policy". This was almost double what I was paying at my prior insurance company! I ended up finding much cheaper insurance and called to cancel my policy. They charged me to cancel my policy! I think given the circumstances they should of waived this charge. Then to make matters worse, they reported me to the state saying I failed to pay my car insurance and they canceled me. I am the one who called and canceled my policy, they did not cancel me! I had to send letters and proof of continuous insurance coverage for each of my cars to the state. I do NOT recommend Victoria Insurance at all. Obviously they have major communication problems within their office and their employees are not properly trained. I do not recommend Victoria for PA residents. Switch to IFA auto. I'm only paying 1/3rd of my rate with Victoria, have better coverage, and they have excellent customer service!
