Wachovia is now Wells Fargo. I would not recommend purchasing insurance from a bank any more than I would recommend purchasing banking products from an insurance company. Find the most competitive product for your needs with the highest ratings.

Wachovia offers term life insurance in addition to whole life. Term is less expensive and you get to pick your term length, as well. It's ideal if you want to cover a certain period that you know you want coverage for especially, such as paying off a significant mortgage or putting your kids through college. Once the term has expired, you can renew it or switch to whole life.
