I received one of these from my sibling as a birthday gift. I found it very simple to use anywhere. My children also received them and loved them.

i received a wachovia gift card for $40. when i first received it, i tried to use it a couple times - and it didn't work. i kept it in the wallet - and just called to determine the balance. the bank just informed me that they stole the whole balance as a 'maintenance fee' and that i could have a nice day. wachovia are thieves. i recommend that you avoid this bank and their scam gift cards …at all costs. this bank is a disgrace to every community in which it works and the people who work there are no better than common thieves.

this is a major scam that no one seems to talk about. wachovia is a bad member of our community. if you can, avoid them. at the very least, don't ever buy these gift cards for someone. wachovia lacks what it takes to be a trusted member of its community. they are a disgrace.
