The check card is OK, it's Wachovia's processing time that is unbearable. I just opened an account and got the card. I never thought to ask when items were posted to the account. I have accounts at 3 other banks, and cash/debit/ATM transactions post immediately and are reflected in online banking within minutes, even ATM check deposits. With Wachovia, you won't see the amount posted until the next morning at the earliest, and possibly 2-3 days later. With today's immediate electronic banking this is totally ridiculous!

Wachovia is a nice bank, if you plan on being in your location for a while. There aren't very many of them around, which makes it kind of difficult to get anything personal done. You'll have to resort ot telephone communication or taking a drive to get personalized assistance. They were very accommodating whenever an overdraft occured though, which was really nice.

I really like Wachovia check card. I am able to link my checking account to my savings account for overdraft protection which is good deal when I'm on my last dime. Also, I feel pretty safe using my check card because Wachovia is great at notifying you about fraudulent charges. Some how or another someone made a copy of my check card and tried (and failed) to charge hundreds of dollars on it and Wachovia called me as soon at happened. I was able to cancel my card right away before the situation got out of hand.

I like this card a lot, i use it as cash, that way i don't have to be carrying money around, and i don't have to keep the coins in my pocket, then there's the plus value of the fundings coming from your savings, so you don't get in dept especially in this crisis times

I recently opened an account with Wachovia and have had no problems with the card. I can use it anywhere I usually shop, which is great. What I really love though is the rewards program they have now where they give you points for dollars you spend. I think that's great!

This was a great product! The only problem I had was that the bank would take out things in funny order- that is to say, they'd process Visa before debit, and large amounts before small ones. Sometimes it made balancing my checkbook a little tricky. Other than that it was low fee, and very convenient!

Wachovia treats you pretty fair with this basic check card, but there are few frills. You have to make an extra effort to sign up for a rewards plan, and the overdraft fee is very high! Besides that not a bad card.

Because I do a lot of shopping online, identity theft is a real worry for me. With this card, I haven't had to worry at all. Knowing that my money will be replaced is a huge feature for me. I also haven't encountered one merchant that didn't accept it.

With Wachovia's Visa check card, I do not have to worry about identity theft. They have fraud protection that will replace any missing money! I wish I had that service before. ATM and merchant transactions are simple, and they keep daily allowances high enough to complete my shopping needs.

Where we live there are NO Wachovia ATMs and so the visa check card is wonderful for us. Not only is it more simple then using a check, but you also get rewards points.
