I hate wamu! I tried to cancel my online CD. I called, they sent me to a branch to get my money, I went to the branch they made me call, said they didn't have access to it. I called, they said they could wire the money into another account, but they needed the address of my home town bank (where I opened my account). I said i had to get it and would call back. I called back and they said they previous person had mislead me. They said in order for me to simply cancel the account, I would need to send them a letter asking for the cancellation....what a load of bullshit
