After 7 months, I am still waiting. Run around. Half a dozen different reps who make first contact and then never return my calls or emails. Two reps back I asked if they would retro-activate the interest I am still paying while they put me off. I was told the rate would only take effect when I closed, no matter how long it took them to finish. I had a 30 day deadline or I would have to forfeit my $750 and suffer financial consequences. I have made good on my end, yet I still suffer the financial consequences. I lose $650 a month waiting. How much is everyone else losing? By putting us off Chase is making billions while we wait. A post I read on another site had someone who was happy to have their refi close after 5 months. At $833 a month, Chase basically stole over $4, 000 from them! Not something to be happy over.

I'm sending a letter, with copies of posts on sites like this, to my congress and representatives as well as other states and Obama's office. I am sure this is a nation wide fraud and theft scheme making Chase billions of extra dollars. If you are having or have had a similar experience, do the same. If our voices are heard, Chase will have to pay.

I am now waiting 120 for closing!! We have very very excellent credit ratings, yet they made a mistake leaving out my line of credit and had to start the entire process over again with no expediting. Can't get a return phone call to save your life. The Loan Processors I am referred to keep quitting. Meanwhile I am out the supposedly refundable $750 fee. Help!

Avoid! It took 100 days to close. They always say its our fault-how do we prove otherwise? We close today-curious how much closing costs-that I'm not supposed to pay-are in the final figures. They never return phone calls for me to find out! I ask questions-they ignore them. This is the first of my documentation condemning them. Its an outrage. Our house appraised at least 200% more than the loan. Already WAMU customers. Steady incomes. This is your final warning.

Avoid at all costs--they will lock a rate and then run the clock so you wind up paying additional fees. A bunch of crooks.

They were terrible!! Had our application for 10 days and then got a call saying that I need to give them a guarantee that I will have my income for the next 3 years! How does one do that? I can't even guarantee that I will be alive in the next 3 years.

When we decided to refinance, i was worried the process was going to be strenuous and time consuming. WaMu was aware of our needs and helped us get the loan we needed while offering the best rates, with the best service.
