Open a WaMu Roth IRA and start investing in your future! Deposit a maximum of $5,000 a year (as long as you meet certain income limitations), or $6,000 if your over the age of 50. You can withdraw contributions from your account anytime without penalty. However, if you want to withdraw your earnings without penalty, the account needs to be open for at least five years and you need to be at least 59 1/2 (some other exceptions apply).
