I am reasonably happy iwth Wells Fargo. My wife and I have been customers for several years. My only frustration is the fact that I constantly seem get "up selling": from the tellers when I deposit a check. They always seem to want to sign me up for some new program, change my account, etc. I just want to get in and out!

You earn 0.05% APY on balances of $500 or more. You get free Wells Fargo exclusive checks, as well as no-fee cashier's checks. There is a minimum opening deposit of $100. You even get a gold check card which can be used anywhere, but you also build up rewards points which go towards a number of certificates and discounts.
