Goal Savings Reviews
I love this account because it is free as long as I have twenty-five dollars transfered into it from my checking account. It is also easy to use and I can go online to make additional transfers. It comes with a atm card which is handy in emergencies, so that is cool too. I like that I only have to transfer $25 because as a student with just part-time employment I don't want to go overboard, …but I do want to save. It is really nice that the transfer of the $25 is done automatically for you.

This is a good program, that is of course if you can keep at least more than thirty dollars at all times. I have been charged the 3.00 even when I have had the 30.00 in there. I complained and they always reversed it, yet it's the princepal that counts. Proceed with extreme caution!
I use Goal Savings service from Wells Fargo for more than one year. In fact, I received nothing from it and lost several bucks for its monthly service fee ($3) To avoid this fee, we have to transfer to the Savings account at least $25 each month. The only advantage of the Savings account is that it can be used to back up the Checking account, i.e. reduce the overdraft fee.
I am pleased with the savings plan taken directly from my checking account so i DON'T SKIP SAVING EVERY MONTH
My husband had set up an account with Wells Fargo, because I referred them. He set up a checking and a savings. I do NOT recommend this set up. Sure it's a nice concept, but we were informed it was OK to stop having the auto 25.00 taking from the checking account and put into the savings, as long as we had 300.00 in there. Otherwise, something they don't share, you are charged 3.00 every month.… We actually had 423.00 in the savings, and they took the 3.00 anyhow. We went and talked to Wells Fargo, and she had no explanation said it should never had done that. It was a flaw or some sort. SO Do not waste your time, unless you plan on having the auto transfer for ever. Just not a fan after the problems that occurred.

It creates an incentive to actually create savings for yourself and your future. The transfers system described above also ensures that you'll build your savings up.
