I was told that if I refinanced my mortgage with a balance greater than $250,000 I would received a .25% discount through the PMA program. I was also told if I had the payment auto debited that I would get an additional .25% discount on the mortgage. NEITHER HAPPENED AND WHEN i INQUIRED ABOUT WHY, I WAS TOLD THAT THE REFINANCE PACKAGE THAT I CHOSE DID NOT QUALIFY FOR THE DISCOUNTS!
WELLS FARGO IS SPREADING A LOT OF MISINFORMATION... BEWARE!!!!!

I had to pay the monthly fee because my account is less than 25,000. It is also hard to find a wells Fargo in a lot of places. But there costumer service is very good. I guess it depends on what is aspects of a checkings account is important to you.
