Wisdom Tree Investments offers Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) and 401(k) investment opportunities to customers. WisdomTree uses a rules-based methodology to select and weight companies in their ETFs by a measure of fundamental value - instead of stock price alone. After researching all of the fundamental indicators of value, WisdomTree believes the most-effective metrics are cash dividends, or core earnings. I agree with the WisdomTree investment philosophy of using a rules-based weighted index. This way I get broad exposure to the market, but instead of just having more stock in the larger companies as most index funds do I can now get more stock in stronger companies. This is an important difference.
