Internet Money Market Account
from Zions Bank
The Zions Bank Internet Money Market Account is only available online and pays higher interest rates than the bank's regular money market accounts. A minimum opening deposit of $100 is required. You can make deposits as often as you wish, withdraw money at an ATM or transfer funds to your checking account online (there are no checks with this account). Interest only applies to balances of at least $1,000. The interest rate on this account, as of late May 2008, ranged from 2% on balances between $1,000 and $49,999 to 3.15% on balances of $250,000 or more.
