Filling out the FAFSA is not as daunting as all the "experts" would have you believe. All of the data that is required is a part of your tax return. Once you have the required information in order, have completed the worksheets, and applied for signature "pin numbers" for both a parent and student, it is just a matter of "connecting the dots." The key to an error free, non stressful FAFSA completion is to do it before your household or office becomes a teeming mass of family or employees. First time filers can do it in 1 1/2 hours and the following years Renewal FAFSA's will only take 30 minutes.
