OK, this one is relative. I only put my credit card debt in this one. I consider debt as anything I owe. Even though my house and car are both assets and in a positve equity position. My lenders would still call it debt. All together I owe about 145K.

The last time that I hear the number for the national average of debt we as american citizens are in is like 42k per person against the defict which seems to increase by the billons by the seconds.
