The big issue in our country besides the wars is health care reform. The tax laws should change so that we can deduct most of our out of pocket costs without having to itemize. I have paid well over $2000 on health care in 2009 and am low income but can only claim my premiums. The tax laws need to change so that we can get a tax credit based on income for out of pocket costs.
