I signed up with Travelers for home insurance when I bought my home. They gave a discount if you do both home and car insurance through them, which was a nice plus. I found the sign up and payment processes very easy to deal with, and their web site allows you to manage your account online which is always a nice plus. Their rates are very good (the lowest that I've found).

On Aug 12, 2008 Matt reviewed Car Insurance from The Travelers
I use Travelers for car insurance because they cover my home insurance. So, combined I get a little bit of a discount.
I've found the rates to be very competitive in NJ and have never had a problem getting in touch with their customer service department.
You can pay your policy online, over the phone or via mail.
One of the other nice bonuses is that I was able to pay my policy using my cre…dit card...which is something that I was unable to do with my former insurance provider.
I would highly recommend Travelers for both home insurance and car insurance.

On Aug 12, 2008 Matt reviewed Car Insurance from Geico
I used to be with GEICO, I've since switched to Travelers because they handle my home insurance. I found GEICO's rates to be very competitive and their customer service was top notch. They are easy to reach and I don't have to wait or get transferred around a lot to get my questions answered. I was very happy with their service.
