On Jul 10, 2008 Vanessa reviewed Ann Taylor Credit Card from Chase
If you love Ann Taylor, why not have this card? True, the rewards system is limited--the points are only redeemable for Ann Taylor Reward Certificates--but at no annual fee, why not rack up the points? For your everyday purchases, you get 1 point per $1 spent, and FOUR points for every $1 you spend at Ann Taylor.
I also love that you can stretch your Ann Taylor Reward Certificates money even… further because they are redeemable not only at regular Ann Taylor stores, but also at Ann Taylor factory stores and Ann Taylor Loft!

Get 3% cash back in your 3 top spending categories. Plus, your top 15 spending categories will get you TRIPLE reward points.

On Jul 10, 2008 Vanessa reviewed Alumni Cards from Bank of America
The alumni cards are a fun way to show your school spirit, and having 0% APR for the first 12 billing cycles is nice (it then increases to 9.9%). But unless you're REALLY passionate about your alma mater, the rewards system isn't that great. The card gives you 1 point for every $1 you spend (and you start out with 2,500 points), but the rewards you can receive by redeeming the points are pret…ty limited--sports merchandise, tickets to sports events at your alma mater, etc. But, if you're big on giving back to your alma mater, the donation given to the college for every purchase you make is a nice perk.
