I work my salary job with the City of Columbus, Ohio in Information Technology to pay the bills and I have started and am building am building small businesses to reinvent, develop and build my life for my dreams, goals, and retirement - including Solo Independent Fee-Only Financial Consulting practice named Wise Financial Solutions and Douglas Uhlenhake Enterprises internet marketing and sales.

My primary/core Financial Consulting interest areas include Comprehensive Financial Planning, Retirement Planning, Investment Planning and Asset Allocation and Management, Divorce & Disaster/Crisis/Life Events/Goals Planning, While I'm not an Insurance Agent, I find rewarding, helping people identify their insurance coverage needs and wants.
I strive to be one's best friend both personally and financially since the two are unseparatable since a true best friend will tell you what you need to know not just what you are comfortable hearing. I also coach, train and mentor people.

My interests include reading/studying, dining out, movies and theater, music (both -listening to many different genres of music and playing instruments and singing, including especially messing around on guitar and keyboard/piano), technology, science, engineering, Photography, Fine-Art, and outdoor activities including walking/hiking, biking, canoeing, fishing, golfing, shooting, and camping.
Also, like slow dancing and want to learn various forms of dancing (Ballroom, Country 2-Step, Swing, etc.
