Eleanor is tireless about educating consumers and media professionals on the merits of CFP® marks and the potential of financial planning processes to enhance and enrich the lives of many. She is currently President of Directions LLC, a firm that offers financial planning services to professional women in their mid-life. Their mission is to shift the discourse regarding personal financing for women, who they see as having outlooks that invite newer and more women-friendly ways to meet their needs.
Eleanor has practiced financial planning for more than twenty years. As principal partner at a wealth management services firm located in the Washington, D.C. metro area, she helped to develop a practice that serves hundreds of clients around the country and manages a portfolio with over a Billion Dollars in assets. A pioneer who helped to establish the profession, she contributed to the advance of CFP® practice standards for financial planners both here and abroad.
