I think the mentioned the above hotels paid the writer to write a positive review. We stayed at the International Plaza hotel and even though the hotel says it is renovated there are sill major issues. A lot of the rooms still are not finished + look like they're decorated in the 80's. Here's a helpful hint - The lower you pay the nastier and filthier the room. Cockroaches were everywhere! Sure its Florida but these things go where the filth are. The employees were not even a little nice. We had to ask five different people for towels and when we got them it was like renting a ferrari (make sure you have your id or your not test driving a towel.) When we finally got to go and relax poolside we found out an employee was found dead in that very pool earlier that morning! Ewwww! Oh! I almost forgot- the best part! Before we even got to the hotel we had a few questions so we called... We were transferred to a woman in reservations; this woman could not be bothered. Every question we asked was if we were bothering her more and more. Mind you the questions were about the hotel and us not asking a physics problem. When we went to hang up with her she though we were already off the line and I heard her say "what a bunch of F^c^ing idiots, those people must not travel, ever." Ladies and Gent's, that is what she said! My wife is my witness!!! Well, I hate to tell you that we do travel, all the time and we most certianly will never be staying at that hotel ever again! this is why I think the writer of this article probably stayed there for free and was given good service by the one of the managers. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!!!
