Once again, I have to give it to USAA. They've insured my car in NC, MD, and MA and it's always the same: The customer service is helpful, like Ari said, human, and fast. Easy to deal with whether you want to change your policy or file a claim. And my impression is that their pricing is competitive, though I haven't done much comparison given that the service is so great. Highly recommended.

Pretty good coverage in New England, but Bank of America definitely has them beat. If you don't live in New England I wouldn't consider it at all. They don't have much to recommend their service in terms of rates, perks, or service, so it would not be my first choice.

Ultra simple website, high security, and some of the highest interest rates around in both checking and savings. If you don't have the need to write out checks by hand very often, this is a great option: it is an interest bearing checking account with easy ability to shift money around. (When you do need to send a check, you just enter the recipient's info and ING will send it for free.) It se…ems they may have gone a bit overboard in terms of security: they are probably the toughest website to log into as they have several layers of security. Beyond that a great service with great rates.
